Alepochori

Just 20 km from Megara and 60 km from Athens, is perhaps one of the best known seaside resorts of Western Attica, Alepochori. Here you will find Serenity Villa Alepochori, a newly built detached house with huge terraces and a large garden just 100 meters from the beach. Fully equipped, it can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people.

Opening season: All year.

The area is located on the eastern side of the Corinthian Gulf, at the foot of the mountains of Gerania. Its lacy beaches occupy several kilometers with alternating landscapes, with sandy and stony beaches, cosmic or not, but also beaches overlooking pine trees where access is only by boat.

The settlement has been constantly developing since the 70s and today thousands of Attica residents retain their permanent or holiday home there, while in the summer months Alepochori gathers many thousands of holidaymakers.

During antiquity, it consisted of two regions, Aigousouss (now Duralakos) and Pagades or Pigai (now Alepochori), which were the lush meadows of the ancient Megaridos in the Corinthian Gulf. The Pagans experienced great growth in the Classical and Hellenistic years due to their position, since the Athenians used this port as a base against the Peloponnese (461 BC).
